 CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN SKIING INFORMATION — Monday  March 23, 2026

To WMSC members and friends: Join the ski club for a day of skiing at Crystal Mountain on Monday March 23 , 2026.  

Members and guests are welcome. This trip is for both downhill and XC skiers, snowshoers and boarders.


We are meeting at Post Road ( Drive) NE Carpool lot and 131 expressway at 8:00 AM for our journey north.  Your other option is to just meet the group at the ski resort instead of carpooling. When you register please indicate this on your reservation.  See question on the bottom of the registration form.

Please let her know one way or another that you are coming. 


We may have a special price deal for WMSKICLUB and Crystal needs to know the number of skiers in our group.  

Ski Discounts Possible Options: 
1.  Some of you have Crystal Mountain Passes or White Gold Cards
2.  if you have a Caberfae Full Week Season Pass to present :  You should have some Crystal Passes with that.
3.  Some of you with Bohemia Passes or Indy passes may have some sort of reciprocal privileges.
4. Shirley has some 2 for 1 passes available from the Warren Miller Movie.  See her  if you do not have one.  She has more than enough for us.  This is actually the best deal without some sort of discount— you just need to have a partner to share with.
When you get to the window at Crystal, let them know that you are with the W M Ski Club.


SO PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATION as soon as possible. We prefer that you sign up on the website. Join the 4 skiers going so far.
Your ticket will be on a RFID card that you can reload every time you come to Crystal Mountain.  You keep it in your pocket. 

SKIING HOURS:  9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.        

Lunch: 12:30  Meet in the tent for lunch from the cafeteria.   3:30 - 4:00 Meet in the bar above the cafeteria if you quit early.

Weather and Snow Conditions:  Slopes are 100% OPEN following the past week's massive winter storm. The significant snowfall makes for excellent 
slope conditions for both skiing and snowboarding.  WEATHER;  26 - 36 DEGREES AND MOSTLY SUNNY ! LOW WINDS !   NO PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED !
 SOUNDS LIKE A FUN WAY TO END OUR SEASON IN NICHIGAN,

WATCH FOR BLUE AND PURPLE FLAG POLES ON THE SLOPES !


Apres skiing 4:30 at  Genos where the prices are more reasonable. —Dinner for those who do not have to get home right away — Genos Sports Bar and Grill in Thompsonville — very reasonable food and drinks. Address: 14848 Thompson Ave, Thompsonville, MI 49683   (231) 378-2554 It is very close to the ski area.  Let Shirley  know if you are going to join the gang for dinner.


Since we  can’t be everywhere —Please help take some pictures for trip records and newsletter articles.  Send them to Shirley’s email when you take them.
